Woven Together at the Indiana State Museum
Feb 3 – Jun 30
See more than 30 Jacquard coverlets with astounding colors, unique patterns and fine craftsmanship by Indiana weavers. Look beyond the beauty and practicality of these blankets and interact with the materials used while exploring their complexity and global connections. Primarily used as bedspreads during the 19th century, coverlets teach us many things about early settler life in Indiana.
