The Indianapolis Indians are the professional Triple-A baseball affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates playing at Victory Field, a 13,750-seat ballpark located in downtown Indianapolis and White River State Park.
Victory Field first opened its gates on July 11, 1996, and has served as both the Circle City’s home to professional baseball and a gathering place for the community for 30 years. The Indians – tabbed “Indy’s Original Home Team” for serving as the longest-standing professional franchise in Indianapolis since 1902 – are regularly a leader in attendance among 120 Minor League Baseball teams, with Victory Field named one of the best MiLB ballparks in the United States by Baseball America, Sports Illustrated and several other national publications.
The Indians play at Victory Field from April through September, but the downtown stadium hosts events year round. Visit IndyIndians.com for a schedule of games and VictoryField.com for events and ballpark booking information.
