Star Spangled Sky Drone Show

Join us for a FREE America250 and Fourth of July celebration like no other! At Star Spangled Sky presented by Purdue University, 200 drones will light up the sky with patriotic imagery and iconic elements of White River State Park.
Activities begin at 7pm | Drones will launch at dark
Event will conclude after the drone show.
Come early and enjoy local food trucks and free activities!
- Grab dinner or a snack at local food trucks! Featuring Chef Dan’s, Chicago Beef & Dogs, Da Blue Lagoon, Etta’s Gooey Goodies, Fiesta on the Go, Let’s Get Toasted, Lumpia Creations, Papa Curl Ice Cream, Serendipity Mobile Catering, and Traveling Tavern + Awesome AF Dirty Soda. Food trucks will open at 5pm!Â
- FREE Kids Zone featuring bounce houses and yard games and more!
- FREE face painting, balloon artists, and caricature artists from About Faces Entertainment.
- FREE yard games to challenge your friends to some friendly competition.

FAQs
- Bridge Closures
- Please be aware the Old Washington Street Bridge will close at 5pm on June 27 due to drone flight paths. Please use New York St. or Washington St. for bridge detours.
- Where should I park?
- There are several parking lots and garages near the park including the White River State Park Underground Garage, Indiana University Riverwalk and Sports Garages, Washington Street Garage, Indianapolis Zoo parking lot and more. Please see map below for more info.
- It is going to be a busy day in the park with many events taking place. Please be aware that some parking lots may fill full.
- Can I bring my dog?
- Yes, dogs are welcome to attend but must remain on a leash at all times.
- Can I bring my own food?
- Yes, you can bring food and non-alcoholic beverages. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from local food trucks starting at 5pm.
- What should I bring?
- Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on the grass. Sunscreen and bug spray are also good ideas!
- Do I need a ticket to attend?
- No, RSVPs are encouraged to help us plan but are not required to attend. To help us out, you can RSVP here.
- Where can I see the drones from?
- The drone show viewing area is Celebration Plaza facing the White River.
